From Idea to Ideology: The Knight CTF Legacy

In the digital realm, every noble quest has its origin. Ours began in 2020 when a dedicated team known as the Knight Squad came into existence, founded by Md. Moniruzzaman Prodhan, also known as NomanProdhan. United by a shared passion for cybersecurity, this valiant squad commenced their journey with unwavering determination and a commitment to honing their skills.

As the years progressed, so did their prowess. In 2021, the members of the Knight Squad initiated a noble tradition of hosting free workshops, generously sharing their knowledge and expertise with the wider community. These workshops not only bolstered their own capabilities but also ignited a spark of interest in the hearts of aspiring cyber defenders.

Then, in 2022, Knight Squad took a bold step forward on their path. With a sense of duty to bolster the global cybersecurity community, they introduced the KnightCTF – the first international Capture The Flag event to emerge from the heart of Bangladesh. With their inaugural CTF, they embarked on a mission to showcase the remarkable talents of their nation on the international stage, cementing their commitment to the cybersecurity cause.

This was the inception of the KnightCTF legacy, born from the passion of a few, and destined to inspire many. From humble beginnings to an international event, KnightCTF has evolved, but our core mission remains the same: to empower and unite cyber knights, defend the digital realm, and champion the principles of chivalry in code.
